The Serverless Computing Survey: A Technical Primer for Design Architecture

The development of cloud infrastructures inspires the emergence cloud-native computing. As most promising architecture for deploying microservices, serverless computing has recently attracted more and attention in both industry academia. Due to its inherent scalability flexibility, becomes attractive pervasive ever-growing Internet services. Despite momentum community, existing challenges compromises still wait advanced research solutions further explore potentials model. a contribution this knowledge, article surveys elaborates domains context by decoupling into four stack layers: Virtualization, Encapsule, System Orchestration, Coordination.
